This dingbat font contains mainly decorative abstract geometric patterns with five-fold symmetry or quasi-symmetry (over 130 such glyph shapes are included). The font code is licensed under the SIL Open Font License, while the abstract symbol shapes are all in the public domain. The five-fold ornaments are assigned to ASCII characters and select Latin-1 characters and include spiral designs, interlacings (knotted patterns), labyrinths, various quasi-floral designs (including retro flowers), basic fractals, etc. Simple unelaborated pentagon and pentagram shapes (which can be found in many other fonts) are not included. Because this font project originated as devising supplemental symbols (and revised versions of a few symbols) for the Discordian dingbat fonts ("Fnord-Hodge" and "Fnord-Podge") by toa267, a few miscellaneous symbols (which are less symmetrical, or are not five-fold at all, or which have specific reference to the Discordian font) are assigned to the first part of the lower-case alphabet. In accordance with the original toa267 font, all characters fit within a 1000-point by 1000-point box. The font shape outlines were designed using cubic beziers; an unhinted Truetype file is also included. The original ZIP archive contains alternative file formats and full documentation.
