Description
Tipotype is a roman type serif font family inspired by the well known fonts like Free Serif, Tex Gyre Termes, Omega Serif. On its first step Tipotype includes the so-called "Bulgarian" letterform model, which has been proposed by a group of Bulgarian designers in the 1960s. In the next steps of the project (using OpenType Layout features – "ssXX", "salt") the font will include also Russian cyrillic glyphs (or better say, "traditional" cyrillic). The Tipotype font family is made primarily for linguists. So it will include full support for combining diacritical marks, ipa extensions and some cyrillic accented glyphs in PUA (accented ъ, ю, я).
